Prints are more affordable and they are easier to get home. Prints are usually made in standard sizes which makes the framing of them easy-you can even do the framing yourself. Buying prints isn't just a cheaper way to decorate your home it is a less stressful way to deal with the decorating process-you can do the framing on your own schedule and it is cheaper than hiring a professional to do it for you. Paint your rooms a new color. Neutral tones are best for your walls when you want to repaint because it lets your color scheme be determined by your decorative items. Neutral tones on walls make it easier to decorate because you don't have to worry about other decorating elements clashing. Leaving most of the walls neutral but painting one of the shorter walls in a different shade is a good idea as well. This is a popular form of decorating. Accent walls are cheap and easy to make. If you hate the color, changing it won't be a hassle because you will only have the one wall to re-paint, not the whole room!

Moving van space is limited and many people will simply start throwing things away when they realize that the moving van has filled up. If you don't have wall to wall carpet, you can add some color and texture to your hardwood or tile floors by using accent rugs. The nice thing about using accent rugs is that, if you want to change them out for new ones, you can do so quickly and cheaply. If you are good with crafts you could even make your own accent rugs.
