I'm So Satisfied - Electric Lawn Edger Review
Never had a moment's trouble. Powerful and makes a very clean cut.
I'm on my first blade (and it still looks fine), even I cut with the deepest cut after the initial shallow cut last year. If I cut when the dirt is damp, I have to clean the blade and wheels off a couple of times during an edging session.
I love this new edger! It was easy to put together and easy to use. I contacted the shipper who directed me to Black and Decker who referred me to the agent in New Orleans who advised me to bring the edger in for repair. New Orleans is at least 75 miles from my home and it will be a pain in the neck for me to get there. I have to shift it back to the edger position about every 10 feet. Wow, the whole time I was edging, I could only think of one thing: Big Wars. It worked as advertised out of the box. Easy to assemble and operate. I had expected the edger to cut the grass cleanly. If you don't want to deal with gas-powered edger, this is THE ONE.
We didn't want to hassle with a gas powered edger. It does however get the job done. I just backed up and hit it again and away the edger went, without even breathing hard. Even the gas-powered edger wasn't this good.
The cord is no problem, even on a 3/4 acre lot. This B&E is my first edger and I think it's the best edger. The overgrowth was so heavy it was difficult to actually find the edge of the pavement, so I had a tendency to grind the blade against the pavement (a good way to wear down your blade). Assembly was easy. The difficulty is in getting it lined up correctly so that you are cutting at the right place. This needs to be improved. This item is exactly what I wanted and it is operating perfectly. Would recommend to anyone.
I have used it twice, and it does a great job on my lawn. Unit operates as described in advertising on Amazon. The Edge Hog does everything your product description promised....and does such a good job! I am very pleased with it, all around.
